Things can be overwhelming especially when there is a lot on our plate.  Sometimes having a friend, a buddy, or a ‘koach’ gets us past the feeling of overwhelm and allows us to move forward.  A poem:

I have so much to do

I don’t know where to start

My head swims, my thoughts are everywhere

The list is endless. Cross off one thing and add three more

I am torn in many directions

Constantly juggling balls one will soon fall on my head

I want to head back to bed

But the show must go on

Take a step back

Take a deep breath

Count to ten. And count again

Make a plan

One step at a time

Prioritize. Call in reinforcements. Breathe again

She comes with a smile

Guides me through

The clouds dissipate, the sun shines again

I can breathe. I can do this

I feel empowered

Items checked off the list

Serenity takes over

I can do this

Thanks for reading.  Wishing everyone a peaceful week.

Hi. I’m Karen Furman, a home organizer and decluttering professional. Organizing is something I’ve been doing since 1st grade when used to straighten everyone’s desks. Fast forward a few decades later, I turned my passion for organizing into a business. Philosophy = Your home should be organized so you know where things are, to the degree that you feel relaxed and not stressed in your space. Method = A combination of Marie Kondo + FlyLady + my own style. YOU make the decisions. YOU decide what to keep and not to keep. I help provide clarity. Attitude = Positive, enthusiastic, non-judgmental
